Nourish Crepey Skin Care Ingredients

Purified Water  - Refers to all types of water from which chemicals have been removed via a variety of different processes.

Aloe Vera Gel  - Natural moisturizer from the leaves of Aloe barbadensis lily plants. The gel has been traditionally used for healing and soothing skin burns, cuts and bruises.

Caprylic / Capric Triglycerides  - Is the most elegant fraction of Coconut oil. It is an excellent skin soothing and emollient vegetable oil fraction.

Stearic Acid  - Is a saturated fatty acid with an 18 carbon chain that is used in a variety of cosmetics and personal care products, as a fragrance ingredient, surfactant, and emulsifier.

Extract of Ivy  - This plant extract also is known for its ability to smooth and soften skin, and it is also reported to help relieve itchy skin conditions.

Olive Oil  -  A small tree in the family Oleaceae, found in much of Africa, the Mediterranean Basin from Portugal to the Levant, the Arabian Peninsula and southern Asia as far east as China as well as the Canary Islands.  This is the first-press olive oil.  The gentle process of cold pressing preserves the character of the oil as a purely natural product.  With its excellent fatty acid composition it cares for the skin and makes it smooth.

Avocado Oil  - The sterolins found in avocado oil can reduce blemishes in skin caused by sun damage.  Avocado oil, for skin care purposes helps to increase collagen production naturally.  Just a few of the vitamins found in avocado oil for skin rejuvenation include vitamins A, various B vitamins including B1 and B2, vitamin D and E as well as beta-carotene, potassium and lecithin.  Diseases like eczema and psoriasis, which are known for the dry and itchy conditions they cause, can benefit slightly from avocado oil. For hair avocado oil comprises of many beneficial nutrients such as, protein, copper, magnesium, iron, folic acid and amino acids. All these nutrients are vital for hair nourishment and growth. Dill Extract  - Dill essential oil may help to reinforce skin elasticity and firmness, thus improving the overall appearance of skin. As a result, the benefits of dill extract are often infused in anti-aging skincare formulas.

Horsechest Nut Extract  - Horse Chestnut extract has been found to have soothing, anti-irritant and astringent properties it is used in facial toners, cleansers and moisturizers for anti-blotchiness.

Ceteareth-20  - Is a penetration enhancer which alters the skin structure, allowing substances to penetrate deeper into the skin.

Vitamin E Acetate  - It functions as an antioxidant which protects the skin from the harmful ultraviolet radiation and the signs of aging.

Green Tea Extract  - Green tea extract can repair and reverse sun damage.  It can rebuild the support tissue of the skin, reducing wrinkles and making the skin more supple and smooth.

Jojoba Oil (Liquid Wax)  - This is natural botanical liquid wax obtained from the beans of the jojoba plant, a small shrub that grows in the hot, dry climates of California and Arizona.  Native Americans have quietly used jojoba oil for hundreds of years to treat various skin maladies.   It protects all the other oils used with it. Protects from rancidity. Jojoba oil works as a natural moisturizer for your skin and lips.  A natural emollient, jojoba oil’s similarity to sebum allows it to absorb easily and readily into your skin, making it a gentle skin-softening moisturizer for all skin types and can lead to an improvement in both dandruff and acne..  Jojoba oil may improve and relieve an assortment of skin conditions, including psoriasis, chapped skin, sunburn and eczema. It gives strength to hair and makes them breakage resistant by providing them required moisturizer and making them free of split-ends and tangles. New cell growth is promoted that makes the hair stronger and gets rid of dryness and frizz.

Coconut Oil  - Coconut oil is a natural substance said to offer a host of health benefits. One of the few plant sources of saturated fat, coconut oil contains lauric acid (said to possess antibacterial, antiviral, and antioxident properties).

Shea Butter  - This butter is derived from a tree nut.  Its botanical source and long heritage of use in skin therapy renders it  valuable in our products.  It is softening, soothing and healing to the skin, protects skin from suns damaging  rays.  Soothes the skin from sunburn, minor burns, itch due to dry skin, rash, skin cracks, and chafing on feet and hands.

Vitamin A Palmitate  - One of the most useful vitamins for skin care. It is necessary to strengthen the cellular membrane. Promotes  growth, repair, and  maintenance of  healthy skin.  Deters and reverses sun damage and aging skin.

Dexapanthenol (Vitamin B5)  - This Vitamin is healing and soothing for the skin. B5 combats aging and acne by improving skin hydration, maintaining skin elasticity, and increasing skin softness.  It is useful in the treatment of skin scaling, roughness, and dryness.

Hyaluronic Acid  - This natural product helps your skin hold on to its own moisture and remain supple for the longest period possible. It also promotes collagen and elastin in the skin.

Essential Oils  - Natural essential oils are used in Nourish products to provide a pleasant experience while using the products and to minimize any allergenic reactions towards scents or perfumes.

Pycnogenol  - Also known as Pine Bark Extract has been known to to be effective on sun-caused hyperpigmented skin.

Grapeseed Extract  - Mild astringent, inheritantly helps to tighten and tone aging skin. Powerful antioxidant effects, as well as, vitamins E, C and A.  It is non-comedogenic and anti-inflammatory due to its high linoleic acid properties. Anti-aging, its light, and easily absorbed texture allows it to be useful in preventing free radical skin damage. It is a flavonoid assisting in stabilizing collagen and maintaining elasticity. This may help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, stretch marks and saggy skin.  Moisturizing properties lends a shimmering appearance to the skin. It is a natural preservative.
