Not everyone is blessed with having naturally beautiful skin. Some of the lucky ones are gifted with good genes and it is fairly effortless for them to look beautiful and ageless.

Beauty and beautiful skin unfortunately has been defined by what you see in the movies and on television. Don’t always believe what you see, in most cases those models and stars have much help with modern day technology and their imperfections are being erased by the computers they use to edit their pictures. Surprisingly you would probably not recognize most of those celebrities if you saw them on the street without the help of all their touch ups.

People today are using a wide variety of skin care products on their skin, some with chemicals and some natural or organic brands. Some people seem to get by using anything on their skin and still look marvelous, however others have severe reactions to those products. Even those that have no reactions are jeopardizing their bodies by allowing chemicals into their bloodstream. For those of you with delicate or problematic skin you should always be aware of the irritating chemicals hidden in most of those miracle products on the market today.

People have different skin conditions, and believe it or not some of the conditions are caused by the way they are treating or not treating their skin. For example, people with oily skin (which is more prone to acne) may worsen their condition by over cleansing. They should be washing their skin morning and night time with a mild cleanser, when you cleanse more often your oiliness or acne could worsen. When you remove the natural acid mantle that protects your skin, your body will try to compensate by producing excess amounts of oil.

When you have extra sensitive skin it is very important to use scent free or hypoallergenic cleansers. Many scents are alcohol based and therefore very drying and irritating to the skin. I recommend using an all-natural or organic skin cleanser for this type of skin.

Don’t forget the other elements that dramatically affect you having a beautiful skin such as:

Regular Exercise

Very important! When you perspire you are removing the free radicals from your body. Also, you are improving your blood circulation which will give your skin a healthy glow.

You are what you eat!!

Don’t forget your fruits and veggies, curb your sugar intake and drink lots of water.

So my recommendation are to throw those chemical based skin care products that you may now be using into the “skin care graveyard” and get started on a new regimen with healthy, organic based products and Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize.

Will be talking to again next month,
Until then. Stay Cool
