Nourish Facial Revitalizer Ingredients

Purified Water: Refers to all types of water from which chemicals have been removed via a variety of different processes.

Aloe Vera Gel: Natural moisturizer from the leaves of Aloe barbadensis lily plants. The gel has been traditionally used for healing and soothing skin burns, cuts and bruises.

Cetearyl Alcohol (from vegetable oil): Cetearyl alcohol, is described as being white wax-like in appearance. These are the major components of many skin care products because of its ability to bind an emulsion together; they act as binders to keep the emulsions from separating into oil and liquid.

Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides (from coconut oil): Is the most elegant fraction of Coconut oil. It is an excellent skin soothing and emollient vegetable oil fraction.

Sunflower Seed Oil: Sunflower seed oil provides protection for the skin as it can be easily absorbed. It offers a protective coating that can help prevent infection and inflammation. Sunflower seed oil is also effective in treating acne. Skin care products, such as body wash, cleansers, and moisturizers often contain sunflower seed oil because of its natural power to retain skins moisture.

Glyceryl Stearate: This is the main emulsifier which keeps all ingredients we use in our creams and lotions stable, creamy and uniform.

Vegetable Glycerin: This is a natural byproduct of vegetable oil processing. It is a natural source of moisture and is also useful for helping the skin retain moisture.

Vitamin E Acetate: It functions as an antioxidant which protects the skin from the harmful ultraviolet radiation and the signs of aging.

Sesame Seed Oil: Contains vitamin E in abundance along with vitamin B complex and vitamin A which helps nourish and rejuvenate skin. Other beneficial nutrients include phosphorus, copper, calcium, zinc and magnesium. It is also known to contain potent antioxidants that can be beneficial for reversing skin aging.

Hyaluronic Acid: This natural product helps your skin hold on to its own moisture and remain supple for the longest period possible. It also promotes collagen and elastin in the skin.

Silk Protein Amino Acids: Hydrolyzed from pure silk fibers, silk amino acids have a lower molecular weight than silk protein powders and are penetrating and moisturizing to skin and hair.

Evening Primrose Oil: One of the richest botanical oils in gamma linoleic acid (GLA) similar to Borage, Hempseed and Black Currant oils. GLA is active in skin anti-aging formulations.  It mainly helps in the rejuvenating process of your skin. It can help produce an anti-aging affect for your skin and gradually minimizes the wrinkles and fine lines on your skin.

Sodium PCA: Humectants are ingredients that hydrate and hold moisture in the skin. Sodium PCA is an incredible humectant that occurs naturally in the skin and is greatly responsible for the skin’s moisture-binding capacity.

Extracts of Ginseng: A plant extract that can tone and revitalize skin. Ginseng can help balance the oil gland production and can smooth fine lines and wrinkles in mature skin. Used by the Chinese for more than 5,000 years, the root of the ginseng is referred to as the flower of life because of its qi, or vital essence.

Grape Seed Extract: Mild astringent, inherently helps to tighten and tone aging skin. Powerful antioxidant effects, as well as, vitamins E, C and A.  It is non-comedogenic and anti-inflammatory due to its high linoleic acid properties. Anti-aging, it’s light, and easily absorbed texture allows it to be useful in preventing free radical skin damage. It is a flavonoid assisting in stabilizing collagen and maintaining elasticity. This may help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, stretch marks and saggy skin. Moisturizing properties lends a shimmering appearance to the skin. It is a natural preservative.

Chamomile: Known for its soothing, healing and protective properties.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C): Potent anti-oxidant (protects skin from oxidation), can improve appearance of aged skin (improves skin elasticity by enhancing collagen production), excellent non-irritating skin whitening agent that inhibits skin cells to produce melanin, lightens age spots.

Green Tea: This extract is rich in phenolic antioxidants which provide anti-aging properties. The antioxidant present in green tea helps to clear damage caused to the skin and repairs the wrinkles, blemishes or any other impurities on the skin. Green tea Extract also soothes the skin and prevents irritation.

Horse Chestnut Extract: Horse Chestnut extract has been found to have soothing, anti-irritant and astringent properties it is used in facial toners, cleansers and moisturizers for anti-blotchiness.

Comfrey Root Extract: Comfrey is used topically to reduce the inflammation and helps to speed the healing of various skin conditions including skin rashes, sunburns, dermatitis and psoriasis.
